If the buyer of your old home is flexible, it might be possible to postpone the move until the contractor finishes. If you notify De Meubeltaxi in time, they also have the flexibility to adjust the moving date.
Place all belongings in one central location in the new house
You have a large garage in the new house. Or you have a few rooms that are ready where the contractor doesn't need to do anything else. Then you can choose to store all the belongings there until the house is ready to place everything in the desired location.
Rent a temporary storage space affordably.
In most cases, you'll need to resort to external storage. In that case, De Meubeltaxi can assist you with moving to a storage unit. De Meubeltaxi collaborates with Shurgard.
Storage at Shurgard, how does it work?
Your move with storage is arranged as follows:
- Request a quote from De Meubeltaxi For your move, request a quote from De Meubeltaxi and select "Storage" as an additional service in step 5. We'll assist you in determining the size of the storage unit you need.
- Rent a storage unit online at Shurgard or call 0800-4100.
- Shurgard will send the rental contract per e-mail and you sign it online.
- On the moving day, we will transport your belongings to the storage unit.You don't need to be present there. If desired, we'll make sure the key gets back to you.
