Moving yourself or professionally
Moving doesn't have to be so black and white. There's a lot involved in a move, and you can do some things yourself. But when it comes to heavy lifting, you'd rather leave it to us, and that's where De Meubeltaxi comes in.
You ensure that everything is packed, and then we come to move the belongings. A team of movers loads everything into the moving truck and ensures that it is placed where you want it in the new home.

What does a medium move look like?
If you order moving boxes from us, we'll deliver them well in advance. You pack everything up and ensure that the household contents are ready for the move. You can dismantle cabinets and beds yourself, or you can leave this to us.
On the moving day, a team of movers arrives to load the household contents into the moving truck. Everything is covered with moving blankets and secured with straps. Upon agreement, we can still pack some large or fragile furniture for you.
You indicate where you want everything in the new home, and we ensure that it is placed there. You then unpack yourself, and later we will come to collect the empty moving boxes.

How much does a medium move cost?
The costs typically range between €1,000 and €3,000 for a medium-sized move. This depends on the size of your household contents, the conditions on-site, and any additional services you may require from us, such as assembly and the provision of moving boxes.

What is needed for a moving quote?
We need insight into what needs to be done and under what circumstances. If your home is for sale, it's likely listed online. This allows us to take a look inside without the need for a physical visit.
In a phone conversation, we'll go through the household contents with you. Is everything going, or are some things staying behind? What will you do yourself, and what will you outsource? What else can we do for you? We can indicate certain services as options so you can see how much you could potentially save.
A physical visit is only necessary if there are circumstances that deviate significantly from the norm. Most of the time, it's familiar territory for us, and then the digital approach is sustainable and efficient.
