The golden middle ground between doing everything and doing nothing. You do what you can do best yourself. Leave the heavy and technical moving work to us. We'll come with 1 or 2 movers and make moving easy for you.
Saving on moving
It's wonderful to be fully taken care of during your move. But it's also wonderful to go on vacation or buy a new couch. You can only spend that euro once, so sometimes it pays off to do a bit more yourself.
You move all the light and small things yourself and leave the furniture and appliances to us. We'll carry the washing machine up the stairs and move that corner sofa and patio set with our moving truck. This way, you get help with the things you can't do yourself and still save on moving.

What does a budget move look like?
We send 1 or 2 Sjouwfeurs® and a moving truck. If desired, they can pack a few more items. They load the furniture into the moving truck, cover it with moving blankets, and secure it with straps. We move the furniture to the new home and place it in the desired room. We reconnect the washing machine and dryer.
If you lend a hand, make sure all the moving boxes are ready downstairs and assist with loading them. We fill the remaining space in the truck with boxes and small items, allowing us to take more without much extra effort. When unloading, we help deliver everything to the ground floor. The larger furniture pieces are carried back up the stairs.
If you live in an apartment, we make the job easier with our dollies and hand trucks. Everything is moved smoothly, and you can assist in getting items in and out of the elevator. This allows us to work quickly and make it easy for you. Sometimes, using a moving lift is convenient. You help the Sjouwfeur® upstairs load the lift, while the other Sjouwfeur® downstairs assists the lift operator with unloading.

Moving is a specialized task, and usually, you'll spend a bit more to employ professionals. It's like choosing between a three-course meal at a poorly rated restaurant or investing a bit more for a high-quality main course at a top restaurant. Opting for a cheap move might lead to disappointment.

The final costs depend on various factors. You can expect to pay between €500 and €1,000 for your budget move. A move from curb to curb, where you arrange a team of helpers, can be done for less than €500.

How do I receive a moving quote?
You provide us with a list of items to be moved: an inventory. What are the addresses and the conditions on-site? We'll call you to discuss this and get a clear picture of the plan. You will then receive a moving quote from us via email.
